I just can't defend him because the quality of work he put out is abysmal. The garbage people are horribly written, the hospital storyline made no sense whatsoever, because anything gained from it was gone within 4 episodes. He's not responsible for literally everything good and bad on the show. Gimples far from perfect but he isn't the devil you guys make him out to be. Alot of you forget who's really in charge of the walking dead. And he's no more in charge of fear then he is the main show anyway, so not sure why he gets all the blame for that. Ratings went way up during the season 4 premier.
